RD Foundation was started by Mr. Chetan Singh Rathod with an objective to provide quality health care, free of cost, to underprivileged sections of the rural areas of Rajasthan. In a short span of time, with continuous efforts and commitment, RD Foundation culminated to a mission that uplifts and empowers the people of rural Rajasthan by serving them through various initiatives.
Considering the pitiful state of villagers specially in lower economic strata and their struggle to get basic medical care; RD Foundation conceptualized a mobile medical health van that consist of a qualified doctor, a pharmacist, a nurse and a driver.

This van makes a weekly visit to remote villages and conduct free health checkup, provide diagnosis and also distributes free medicines. For now, RD Foundation medical van covers 36 villages in Rajasthan. The free healthcare services made available by RD Foundation has benefited thousands of villagers. With right and in-time medical assistance, it is possible for villagers to now lead a healthier life. Villagers no longer have to suffer in silence to protect their livelihood and they can do better for themselves, their families and thereby entire nation.

While pursuing their primary cause i.e. helping villagers to live healthier life, the team of RD Foundation realised that the villagers who struggled to even ensure their good health, most certainly didn’t have means to educate their children and enable to earn their living with dignity.
To do their bit in this regard, for people who cannot afford studies beyond matric, RD Foundation started a vocational training institute – Mcare Academy that imparts mobile repair training, free of cost, to young boys and girls. Several hundreds of students have been benefited by Mcare academy as they have been able to set up their own business or get respectable jobs.

Sanjeevani nasha mukti abhiyaan was a social initiative taken by RD Foundation in collaboration with Rajasthan Police which addressed the rising issue of drug trafficking and related crimes in villages of Rajasthan. Camps were organized in 25 villages and over 10000 people were made aware of the harmful effects of drugs, and steps they should take to report drug peddlers or any crime related to it.
Balika chetna jagruti abhiyan was another social initiative taken by RD Foundation with an intention to create awareness about menstruation. Teenage girls, who were to experience menstruation for the first time,  were given right knowledge about menstrual cycle and hygiene. They were also educated about good touch – bad touch so they can ensure their safety and grow to be more confident.

RD Foundation realizes that a village is the smallest unit of the country and if that can be empowered and made self-sufficient it will eventually lead to a prosperous nation. With this view RD Foundation is also working towards various other social causes. RD Foundation identifies the problems at the grass root level and addresses them using various ways in association with government and non-government bodies.
RD Foundation is continuously working towards betterment of underprivileged villagers by uplifting them and making them able to  contribute towards building a better nation.
